Job summary

LP Insurance Services in Nevada is seeking an experienced HR Generalist with 3+ years of HR experience to support multiple client accounts. Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Human Resources practices, procedures and compliance.
• Strong familiarity with Nevada labor laws (California experience preferred).
• Experience with sensitive employee relations issues.
• Familiarity with FMLA Leave Administration and ADA Accommodation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with multiple client needs, projects, and deadlines.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
• Proficient with all Microsoft office programs and HRIS platforms.
• High level of time management, organization, communication, and customer service skills.

Requirements

What is Needed:

• Scheduling with clients to plan, process and organize projects.
• Conduct HR assessments and personnel file reviews for clients.
• Gather information for the preparation of customized employee handbooks.
• Recruiting duties to include resume review, phone screens, interviews, etc.
• Preparing and providing training sessions for clients.
• Participate in client meetings as needed.
• Provide excellent and professional service to clients in person and on the phone, and ensure all communication is professional, customer focused, and helpful.
• Implement and monitor legal compliance measures as documented in the company’s policies/procedures.

Qualifications Needed

• At least 3 years of HR Generalist experience
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• College degree preferred
• Knowledge of Human Resources practices, procedures and compliance.
• Strong familiarity with Nevada labor laws (California experience preferred)
• Experience with sensitive employee relations issues
• Familiarity with FMLA Leave Administration and ADA Accommodation
• Experience in demonstrating high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and HR knowledge
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with multiple client needs, projects, and competing deadlines.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Proficient with all Microsoft office programs and ability to work in HRIS platforms
• High level of time management, organization, communication, attention to detail and customer service skills
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to share skills and knowledge with others
