Job summary

Pacific Crest Group is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to step into client environments, assess people and process challenges, and partner with leaders to build HR systems that support growth, accountability, and culture. This is a diverse, client-facing role requiring strategic and hands-on work, with a hybrid schedule and onsite at our San Rafael office, plus travel to Bay Area client sites.

Compensation is $125,000–$140,000, prorated for part-time, with benefits including medical,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of broad HR experience including employee relations and compliance.
• Experience across multiple industries and business types.
• Ability to advise owners and executives with confidence.
• Strong systems thinking to build usable HR processes.
• Excellent communicator with empathy and accountability.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple clients.
• Consulting experience and SPHR or similar certification is a plus.

Pacific Crest Group is a 25+ year consulting firm providing customized HR, finance, accounting, and business advisory services to growing organizations. Our clients rely on us for practical leadership that helps them scale, improve performance, and build healthy, productive workplaces.

We are looking for an experienced HR Consultant who can step into client environments, quickly assess people and process challenges, and partner with leaders to build HR systems that support growth, accountability, and culture.

This is a diverse client-facing role for someone who is both strategic and hands-on, and is accustomed to providing HR support to a variety of business sizes and industries.

What You'll Do

• Assess organizational structure, talent, and HR practices
• Build and improve HR infrastructure (policies, compliance, onboarding, performance management, employee relations)
• Coach leaders and managers on accountability and team performance
• Help growing companies scale their people practices

Compensation and Benefits

Hybrid part-time role with regular onsite work at our San Rafael office and client locations.Must be willing to travel to client sites in the greater Bay Area on a regular basis.

Compensation:Annual salary range: $125,000 - $140,000, prorated for part time schedule.

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and 401(k); PTO and paid Holidays. Benefits are available to part-time employees scheduled to work 24 hours per week or more.
