Job summary

Consilio LLC, a prestigious Atlanta law firm, seeks an experienced Human Resources Compliance & Operations Manager to oversee HR compliance, policies, systems, and operational initiatives. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with law-firm experience and a process-driven mindset.

Reporting to the HR Director, you will lead HR audits, manage HRIS and vendor contracts, administer the employee handbook, and ensure adherence to employment laws while driving efficiency across the department

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of progressive HR experience with significant responsibility for HR operations, compliance, and policy administration.
• Experience in a law firm environment.
• Strong expertise in employment law compliance, HR best practices, policy development, audits, and HRIS management.
• Experience managing HR vendors, contracts, and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain HR policies, procedures, employee handbook, forms, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and monitor legislative changes impacting HR operations.
• Lead HR audits, including personnel records, job descriptions, FLSA classifications, independent contractor agreements, and department processes.
• Oversee and maintain HR systems, databases, and workflow processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and process improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts, including background screening, training, compliance, performance management, and other HR service providers.
• Administer the firm's business professional performance evaluation process, including timelines, system management, and reporting.
• Manage workers' compensation administration and related compliance matters.
• Coordinate compliance programs, including required training initiatives and reporting.

Our client, a prestigious Atlanta, GA law firm is seeking an experienced Human Resources Compliance & Operations Manager to oversee HR compliance, policies, procedures, systems, and operational initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with prior law firm experience who thrives in a highly professional, process-driven environment. Reporting to the HR Director, this process manager will serve as the firm's subject matter expert on HR compliance, policy administration, HR systems, audits, and vendor management while driving operational efficiencies across the department.

Job Overview

• Strong expertise in employment law compliance, HR best practices, policy development, audits, and HRIS management.
• Experience managing HR vendors, contracts, and external service providers.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred.
