This is a Full-time, paid internship. The hours for this position are flexible within our normal operating hours of M-F 8:00am -5:00pm. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:**• New hire orientation & onboarding process preparation• Employee Newsletter planning, editing, layout, publishing & distribution• Assists employees with questions and greets visitors• Supports and participates in various HR-related events and projects• Responsible for Attendance Tracking• Process employment verifications• Administers Visitor Badge process and badge access control• Schedules and tracks business-unit required trainings, communications, lunch and learns etc.• Assists with Employee Service Award Recognition Program• Completes HR filing and document retention• Other duties as assigned **QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:**• Must currently be enrolled in an Associates or Bachelors level program related to Human Resources• 3.0 GPA or higher desired.• Comfortable in a fast paced environment and handling multiple priorities at once• Must be able to handle sensitive/ confidential information in a professional manner• Ability to address situations with good judgment and integrity• Excellent task management, prioritization, and organizational skills• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Ability to build strong business relationships• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)• Ability to work at least 28 hours/week for Spring semester and 40 hours/week for Summer semester*This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
