Crane Pumps & Systems in Piqua, Ohio, seeks a skilled machinist to set up and operate conventional and CNC lathes/milling centers in a low-volume/high-mix environment.
You will read blueprints, select tools, set feeds and speeds, verify dimensions with gauges, and collaborate with programmers for continuous improvement.

Sets up and operates conventional machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to machine metallic and nonmetallic work pieces in a low volume/high mix environment. Sets up and operates either CNC lathes or CNC milling centers to machine metallic and nonmetallic work pieces.
