Job summary

Freese and Nichols is seeking an HR Business Partner to deliver full-cycle HR support across designated groups. You will act as a consultant to management, aligning business objectives with employees, and driving HR excellence while serving as a change agent.

The role requires a hands-on, high-volume mindset with the ability to roll up sleeves, support leadership, and implement policies, programs, and initiatives that improve engagement and retention.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • Minimum of 2 years as an HR Business Partner.
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Analytical and goal-oriented.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
  • Thorough knowledge of labor law/legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Consults with leaders and employees providing daily HR guidance and direction.
  • Interface with all levels of the organization and align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Analyze trends and metrics and share insights with leadership.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
  • Lead performance management guidance, coaching, and development.

This HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support. The HRBP is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated groups. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The successful HRBP acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively within our HR department and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement.QualificationsResponsibilities:Consults with leaders and employees providing daily HR guidance and direction. Must be able to interface at all levels of the organizationUnderstands business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the companyAnalyzes trends and metrics and shares insights and opportunities with leadership and managementResolves complex employee relations issues and addresses grievances and concernsWorks closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention. A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the \"pulse\" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagementProvides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Provides HR policy guidance, direction and adherenceMonitors and reports on workforce and succession planningCreates, leads directs and/or participates in a variety of projects and programs including – salary planning, policy development, training design and delivery, workforce design and workforce planning Suggests/helps create HR strategies for clientsComfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to \"roll up your sleeves.
