Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Centralia, MO is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to lead the daily HR functions for the plant, partnering with plant leadership to foster a high‑performance culture, ownership, and continuous improvement while delivering excellent employee service.

You will handle recruiting, onboarding, benefits, policy administration, labor relations support, and HRIS updates, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or Management or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of HR experience in a relevant environment.
  • Manufacturing HR experience and union exposure preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Providing daily HR support to the manufacturing employees maintaining positive employee relations and engagement.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Preparing offer letters and new hire package; conduct new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and address employee concerns.
  • Support labor relations and union administrative activities.
  • Coordinating performance review programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Working with Plant Leadership on all job description changes and compensation.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, Legal, Finance, IT, and operational leaders on HR initiatives.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Human Resources Business Partner - Centralia, MO

Join our growing team in Centralia, MO! We are looking for a strong Human Resources Business Partner who will be responsible for running the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring, interviewing, benefits and enforcing company policies and practices. This role will be responsible for partnering with plant leadership to deliver a high-performance culture, promoting ownership, goal attainment and continuous learning and improvement at all levels of plant. The HR Business Partner serves as a resource to provide customer service support to employees by responding to employee inquiries and questions. Additional responsibilities will include providing information regarding company policies, procedures, and programs; processing request /documents; and updating HR systems while ensuring efficient delivery of customer service to employees. This is an onsite position in Centralia, MO. Relocation assistance offered. #LI-AO1

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or Management is required
  • 5+ year of relevant HR experience(required)
  • Manufacturing HR experience and Union experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management system
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
