Job description

One of our rapidly growing financial services clients is currently seeking to add a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (#2 to Head of HR). The ideal candidate must be highly accomplished within the HR profession with a proven track record of success within rapidly growing financial services firms.

Essential Functions:
  1. Spearhead new HR policies and initiatives to align business objectives with the firm's vision, and optimize team effectiveness.
  2. Oversee all aspects of the employee onboarding process, including background checks, orientation, and preparation of new hire packages and documents.
  3. Design and maintain procedures for employee relations, develop and implement a talent plan, and strengthen the effectiveness of the firm's people leaders by providing coaching, counsel, and guidance.
  4. Communicate news and vital information to staff effectively.
  5. Manage benefit administration, including communication, enrollment, and status changes.
  6. Implement changes that enable technology to drive key growth initiatives.
  7. Develop, prepare, and analyze reports with attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Ensure compliance and proper maintenance of personnel records and files.
  9. Manage the recruitment process, including posting ads on recruitment and professional websites, tracking, scheduling, and communicating with applicants and agency vendors.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; minimum of 9+ years of related HR professional experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Knowledge of personnel administration principles and applicable federal and state laws.
  3. Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to listen effectively.
  4. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  5. Ability to manage priorities and workflow efficiently.
  6. Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm to work within constantly changing priorities.
