One of our rapidly growing financial services clients is currently seeking to add a Senior Human Resources Business Partner (#2 to Head of HR). The ideal candidate must be highly accomplished within the HR profession with a proven track record of success within rapidly growing financial services firms.
Essential Functions:
- Spearhead new HR policies and initiatives to align business objectives with the firm's vision, and optimize team effectiveness.
- Oversee all aspects of the employee onboarding process, including background checks, orientation, and preparation of new hire packages and documents.
- Design and maintain procedures for employee relations, develop and implement a talent plan, and strengthen the effectiveness of the firm's people leaders by providing coaching, counsel, and guidance.
- Communicate news and vital information to staff effectively.
- Manage benefit administration, including communication, enrollment, and status changes.
- Implement changes that enable technology to drive key growth initiatives.
- Develop, prepare, and analyze reports with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance and proper maintenance of personnel records and files.
- Manage the recruitment process, including posting ads on recruitment and professional websites, tracking, scheduling, and communicating with applicants and agency vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; minimum of 9+ years of related HR professional experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of personnel administration principles and applicable federal and state laws.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to listen effectively.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow efficiently.
- Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm to work within constantly changing priorities.
