  • Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and reports using HRIS systems.
  • Conduct training sessions on company policies, safety, and leadership development.
  • Lead employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Description and Requirements

The HR Business Partner will provide progressive Human Resources support to Lenovo's US Manufacturing plant This role provides thought leadership in guiding, developing and implementing strategic and tactical HR initiatives focused on achieving business objectives.

The selected candidate must be a strategic thought leader, have a track record of building partnerships with all levels of employees and have a history of implementing successful programs across heavily matrixed organizations. Thought leadership, organizational agility, business acumen, relationship building, and solid execution are the keys to being successful in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership on HR-related matters.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO).

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, SAP).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
