Job description

Job Description:

Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a Human Resource Business Partner to join our team. This is a work-from-home position that requires residency in our East market region, including Lexington, Richmond, and Corbin. Occasional travel to clinics in these areas will be required.

The HRBP serves as a fully integrated member of an assigned business unit by providing comprehensive HR consultation and support services to business operations. The role aims to maximize the effectiveness of leaders and contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives. Assisting HR leadership with projects as requested is also part of the responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

  1. Understand the strategic initiatives for assigned business units and align HR goals and metrics to support business initiatives.
  2. Build strong, win-win relationships with strategic partners to deliver on key initiatives, such as operations leaders.
  3. Provide coaching to leaders on employment matters and serve as a trusted advisor.
  4. Assist in solving problems related to talent and people management.
  5. Serve as a strategic partner within the HR team by collaborating, communicating, and contributing to team efforts.
  6. Focus on performance management to enhance productivity within the scope of responsibilities.
  7. Assist in developing and delivering training based on identified needs.
  8. Monitor compliance with workplace policies and practices.
  9. Develop and distribute reports on key HR metrics to operations leaders, including turnover, engagement, recruiting statistics, dashboards, etc.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Communications, Business, or a related field with at least two years of experience.
  • Alternatively, ten or more years of direct experience in lieu of a degree.
  • SHRM-SCP/CP or SPHR/PHR certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Workday and Microsoft Office Suite is strongly preferred.
