Job summary

The Matura Farrington is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to champion employee well-being and foster an equitable, high-performing work environment built on transparency, accountability, trust, and mutual respect.   • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; four years of relevant professional HR experience.
  • Minimum of four years of HR experience.
  • Experience advising stakeholders within a global, matrixed organization is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating and managing complex employee relations matters is preferred.

  • Implement HR strategies focused on employee engagement, performance optimization, and professional development
  • Manage people-related projects, programs, and processes to ensure successful execution and compliance
  • Partner with department leadership on talent development and acquisition, resource management, performance optimization, and employee training initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to office leadership and employees, providing guidance across a broad range of human resources matters
  • Advise on employee relations matters and ensure appropriate application of organizational policies and practices
  • Promote effective and collaborative work practices while fostering a respectful workplace
  • Handle highly sensitive, confidential information with discretion

About the Role

The Human Resources Business Partner is an integral member of the Human Capital & Talent team. This position will champion employee well-being while helping foster an equitable, inclusive, and high-performing work environment built on transparency, accountability, trust, and mutual respect.

The position is based in Century City, Los Angeles and may offer a flexible hybrid schedule combining in-office and remote work (minimum 3 days in office).

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement HR strategies focused on employee engagement, performance optimization, and professional development
  • Manage people-related projects, programs, and processes to ensure successful execution and compliance
  • Partner with department leadership on talent development and acquisition, resource management, performance optimization, and employee training initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to office leadership and employees, providing guidance across a broad range of human resources matters
  • Advise on employee relations matters and ensure appropriate application of organizational policies and practices
  • Promote effective and collaborative work practices while fostering a respectful workplace
  • Handle highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information with appropriate discretion
The ideal candidate will:
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of human resources functions and best practices
  • Demonstrate the ability to succeed in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a strong customer-service focus
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and the ability to advise stakeholders on complex people-related matters
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; four (4) years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant HR experience
  • Additional relevant experience is preferred
  • Experience advising and supporting key stakeholders within a global, matrixed organization is preferred
  • Experience coordinating and managing complex employee relations matters is preferred
