Job description

The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas related to the human resources field. They should be comfortable consulting with leadership on performance management, employee relations, talent planning, engagement and leadership development. This role acts as a strategic partner and cultural ambassador, enabling the business to scale and thrive through its people.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to field leadership (VP of Ops, Regional Directors, DMs and GMs embedding HR strategies into business planning and operational execution.
  • Co-lead talent reviews succession planning, and leadership pipeline development.
  • Research and analyze employee trends to understand ways to increase employee engagement and retention
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to daily management of employees
  • Assist management in conflict resolution
  • Set standards for ethics, values and culture of company
  • Onboard new employees and manage immigration documents, taxes and benefits packages

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • 4 - 7 years of experience in HR or related field
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations and requirements related to HR including ERISA, EEO, LOAs, ADA, Workers Compensation, COBRA, Wage & Hours and others
  • Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
