Job summary

Worthington Steel is seeking an HR Business Partner to partner with plant leadership, develop talent, and strengthen culture at our Porter, Indiana facility. The role focuses on coaching leaders, resolving complex people challenges, and aligning people strategies with business objectives.

You will drive full-cycle recruiting, workforce planning, and HR analytics, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in HR, Business, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in manufacturing/operations.
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience.
  • Proven ability to coach leaders and influence business decisions.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using HR metrics and data to drive business decisions.
