Worthington Steel in Porter, Indiana is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with plant leadership, develop talent, strengthen culture, and help drive business success at our Porter facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or operations.
• Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience.
• Proven ability to coach leaders and influence business decisions.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using HR metrics and data to drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead workplace investigations and resolve employee concerns with fairness, consistency, and confidentiality.

• Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to improve hiring, retention, and engagement.
• Support compensation, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
