Human Resources Business Advisor - Stores (Hybrid - Atlanta Metro)

About The Role

In this role, you will drive HR initiatives and key people strategies within the Stores organization to achieve business and associate objectives. You will support and facilitate succession planning, talent mobility, and serve as a key partner to cross-functional teams to implement HR solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Provide Store Leadership with HR guidance, counsel, and support for business and talent strategies.
• Maintain talent summaries, workforce planning analysis, and support.
• Provide insights based on analysis to HR leadership.
• Ensure accuracy of headcount data and prepare reports for HR leadership.
• Support Talent Assessment, Succession Planning, and Talent conversations, connecting talent needs across the organization.
• Develop communication and implementation plans for business transformations.
• Support and influence the adoption of HR initiatives across Stores.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of projects and programs.
• Negotiate and facilitate solutions with internal partners (e.g., BUF, COE, SSC, Workday).
• Reinforce Kohl's values and behaviors.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Business or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience building strong business partnerships.
• Experience with HR metrics and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills to address workforce needs.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years in HR or employee relations.
• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Workday experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace tools.
