About the Role
In this role you will drive HR initiatives and key people strategies within Stores organization to achieve business and associate established objectives. To achieve desired outcomes, this role supports and facilitates, in partnership with leadership, succession planning, talent mobility and serves as the key partner to cross-functional partners to drive HR solutions.
What You’ll Do
Provide Store Leadership with day to day HR guidance, counsel and support of business and talent strategies
Maintain talent summaries, workforce planning analysis and support
Provide recommendations and insights based on analysis to HR leadership
Ensure accuracy of business unit and/or department open and active headcount and prepare deliverables as needed for HR leadership
Support Talent Assessment, Succession Planning and Talent conversations, connecting talent needs across the Stores organization
Develop communication and implementation deliverables for business transformations
Support and influence implementation and adoption of HR related initiatives across the Stores organization
Contribute to continuous improvement of project and program delivery
Influences, negotiates, and facilitates solutions with internal partners and stakeholders (i.e. BUF, COE, SSC, Workday)
Advocate and reinforce Kohl's values and behaviors
May be assigned additional responsibilities
What Skills You Have
Required
Bachelor degree, with an emphasis on HR/Business or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Experience developing strong business partnerships to support achievement of business objectives
Demonstrable experience with HR metrics and analyzing people data to make business recommendations
Strong analytical and data acumen to identify people priorities for the business and address future workforce needs
Preferred
3+ years of experience in associate relations or HR
PHR or SPHR
Workday Experience
Advanced knowledge of Google (sheets, slides, docs)
Essential Functions

Ability to comply with dress code requirements
Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation
Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements as set by the company
Ability to learn and comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
Ability to receive, understand and proactively respond to direction from leadership and other company personnel
Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively and appropriately with others

Ability to complete or oversee the completion of assigned projects in a timely manner
