Job summary

Minnesota Daily is seeking a part-time HR Associate to support onboarding, records management, and employee engagement for Minnesota Daily staff. You will assist with events, trainings, and HR projects while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Strong communication and organization are essential for success in this introductory HR role. The position offers up to 8 hours per week at $16.37 per hour, with opportunities to learn HR laws, processes, and workflows and participate in

• Must be a University of Minnesota student.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new hire onboardings and paperwork.
• Assist with HR planned events and functions for the staff.
• Encourage employee well-being and positive interactions.
• Identify opportunities for employee growth and learning.
• Assist with employee relations training and resources.
• Develop knowledge of HR laws, processes, and workflows to aid in the department.
• Attend weekly HR staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Director.
