Class LTD is seeking an HR Assistant to provide support across four counties, managing the Paycor Recruiting ATS and background checks, maintaining personnel files, and assisting the HR team with documentation. This role supports four counties of direct care providers serving individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The position is part-time (20 hours weekly) with potential to expand to full-time, including coverage of the front reception area and full-time benefits.

Monday: 8:00am-12:00pm

This position could flex in to a full-time position with continued coverage of HR assistance duties and covering the front reception area, resulting in a 40 hour week. Schedule would be Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, with full-time benefits. (Schedule may be adjusted to 8:30-4:30 in some cases)

Class LTD is hiring individuals to provide support for four counties of our direct care professionals who assist individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The HR Assistant is responsible for support of many human resource programs within the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Assistant manages and maintains the applicant tracking system (ATS) known as Paycor Recruiting. They will own the integrity of all background check processing (including but not limited to, processes pre-employment screening requests such as KDADS, KNAR, DCF Adult/Child Registry and driver’s license checks), monthly screening notifications/tracking for compliance, personnel files maintenance, and filing. They monitor, receive and process employment verification's, assists the HR department in typing needs in Microsoft Word and spreadsheets in Excel. The HR Assistant keeps the Director of HR updated on any important HR issues that may arise.
Paid training is provided. Major holidays (8) are paid, off days. Dress code is relaxed business casual. The successful candidate will have a passion for enriching the lives of individuals with disabilities, a caring personality and an ability to be attentive to details. They will be able to lift 50 lbs. and pass a background check regarding criminal offenses and child/elder abuse. Customer service experience is a huge plus, as our employees are our customers. HR experience is required. Additional training will be provided for the right person.
State accredited high school or equivalent (GED). HR related courses or seminar completion desired. HR certificatin through an approved program a plus.
One or more year's relevant human resources experience; familiar with human resources laws and practices; working knowledge of office procedures and files a must.
General knowledge of and experience working with persons with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of and experience in teaching skills, writing objectives and assessment techniques. Ability to communicate with a variety of individuals. Understanding of coordinating and arranging educational opportunities and work teams. Must be computer literate (experience with Microsoft Office, specifically word/excel, highly preferred), have good organizational skills and above average written/verbal communication skills. Good organizational skills a must.
Pre-employment testing will be required.
