Colorado State University in Fort Collins is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to handle onboarding, hiring, and data management for hourly and student employees. You will answer routine HR inquiries, maintain records in the HCM system, and support recruitment processes while ensuring confidentiality.
This role reports to the Senior HR Manager for the College of Liberal Arts and will work fully in-office initially, with potential for future hybrid options.
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for a variety of HR related duties such as hiring and onboarding all student and non-student hourly employees; providing administrative search support for job requisitions and postings; entering and tracking leave in the HCM system; processing, tracking, and maintaining personnel information and records; responding accurately to general HR inquiries while ensuring strict confidentiality; and providing back‑up HR support to our existing HR team. This position liaises with other HR services, the Graduate School, and student employment to ensure compliance with university, state, and federal regulations and policies. This position formally reports to the College of Liberal Arts Senior HR Manager. Successful candidates will be highly organized, detail‑oriented team‑players with a strong internal customer‑service focus. This position will start fully in‑office and may have the option to be hybrid in the future.
