Alliance Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator responsible for recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, leaves and HR data management.
The role reports to the VP of Operations and supports policy implementation across locations. The position is full-time in a healthcare/human services setting, requiring 2–3 years HR/payroll experience, proficiency with Paychex or similar HRIS, and strong communication and Excel skills.

The position reports directly to the VP of Operations and is responsible for all aspects of human resources functions, including employee recruitment, Onboarding, offboarding, benefits and leave administration, employee relations, payroll administration, data management and policy implementation.

Alliance is dedicated to the success of the children and families we serve and is looking for like-minded employees.
Manage applicant tracking and support recruitment efforts, including drafting, and posting jobs, screening candidates, and interviewing as needed.
Facilitate employee onboarding, including creating and maintaining relevant materials, completing background and reference checks, preparing offer letters, processing new hire paperwork, and updating new hire data in the HR system to ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements.
Facilitate employee offboarding, including creating and maintaining relevant materials, processing offboarding communications and COBRA notices, and updating data in HR systems.
Administer benefit plans, including facilitating open enrollment for qualifying employees and as needed. Review and reconcile benefit carrier invoices.
Administer leaves and workers compensation benefits.
Prepare bi-weekly payroll for multiple locations, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Manage data and processes in HRIS system. Maintain electronic employee files.
Assist in responding to employee relations issues in partnership with the supervisor.
Support management with administration of employee performance reviews.
Coordinate and/or facilitate staff development programs.
Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures, including updates to the employee handbook and other documents.
Other projects as assigned.
Full Time 40 hours per week, with attendance at staff meetings and occasional night and weekend events outside of regular hours required.
Regular Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Bachelor's degree required
2-3 years of progressive work experience in human resources and payroll operations
Experience with Paychex or other HRIS and payroll systems strongly preferred
Proficiency with Excel and working knowledge of the full Office 365 suite
Experience working in a healthcare/human services setting preferred
Demonstrated proficiency with written and verbal communications
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
