Job summary

The IMF is building a competitive pool of Human Resources Analyst(s) for HR Operations to support HR service delivery and operational administration through a contractual assignment.

Responsibilities include administering HR policies and programs, delivering HR services, coordinating recruitment, processing HR transactions and payments, and using AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency while protecting confidential data.

Qualifications

  • Combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of secondary education plus at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • 2 years of experience in human resources is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service, HR benefits administration, recruitment operations, talent acquisition support, accounting, or payroll is highly desirable.
  • Experience coordinating recruitment activities, candidate communications, and interview scheduling is highly desirable.
  • Experience using HR systems, case management tools, collaboration platforms, Microsoft Office applications, and/or AI-enabled productivity tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Administer HR policies and programs using established procedures and documented precedents
  • Deliver HR services in line with defined service standards and performance targets
  • Provide high-quality customer support to employees and candidates
  • Administer HR transactions and allowance payments
  • Perform audits, reconciliations, and quality control reviews for HR transactions and related payments
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including candidate engagement
  • Resolve routine requests and elevate complex matters as needed
  • Maintain accurate HR records and data
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to support efficient service delivery
  • Contribute to procedure and guidance materials
  • Use HR technologies and AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency and service delivery
  • Support knowledge transfer by training back-up and temporary staff
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism
  • Review, triage, and resolve HR inquiries and transactions submitted via HR self-service portal, email, phone, chat, or in-person channels
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and service delivery performance targets
  • Interpret and apply relevant HR policies, GAOs, Staff Handbook provisions, and operational procedures
  • Safeguard the integrity and accuracy of employee records and data to support benefits administration and transaction processing
  • Process selected HR transactions accurately and within established service standards and timelines
  • Coordinate recurring allowances and one-time payments in collaboration with payroll
  • Observe policy and process controls to mitigate risks
  • Maintain and update procedures, self-help guides, knowledge articles, and other HR service content
  • Identify documentation gaps and support standard operating procedures
  • Recommend improvements to HR policies, work practices, procedures, and systems
  • Support HR service presentations, training, and knowledge transfer for colleagues and replacements
  • Administer recruitment lifecycle operational processes supporting client departments, internal candidates, and external applicants
  • Conduct recruitment-related eligibility reviews and support recruitment officers with eligibility and policy compliance
  • Assist recruitment officers with salary determinations using relevant compensation policies and procedures
  • Prepare and coordinate offer letters and recruitment documentation
  • Respond to policy and procedure inquiries from client departments and candidates
  • Liaise with Talent and COEs; expedite issues as needed
  • Coordinate recruitment workflow inputs, monitor document submissions, and ensure timely stakeholder communication
  • Maintain and update recruitment activity data and support reporting
  • Ensure recruitment information on HRD’s website is reviewed and updated
  • Contribute to projects and continuous improvement efforts

  • Coordinate recruitment workflow inputs, draft communications per IMF standards, monitor document submissions, maintain records, and ensure timely stakeholder communication
  • Maintain and update recruitment activity data and support reporting, analysis, and other analytical work as required
  • Ensure recruitment information on HRD’s website is regularly reviewed and updated
  • Contribute to projects, initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts as needed
Requirements
