Job summary

SAIC in Chantilly, VA seeks a Portfolio Acquisition Execution (PAE) Human Resources Analyst to support space programs. The role provides direct HR data analysis to government customers and requires familiarity with DoW/IC organizations and satellite systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and coordinating correspondence, reports, and related items for SPO HR.
  • Implementing and delivering HR best practices; resolving HR issues when they arise.
  • Communicating status of HR activities to leadership.
  • Tracking, writing, and coordinating awards and nominations.
  • Supporting SPO business processes and rhythm.
  • Collaborating with SPO leadership and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Planning, tracking, and driving to closure all HR tasks and products.
  • Anticipating needs for SPO success and leadership responsiveness.
  • Planning ahead, anticipating issues, providing solutions, and solving problems.
  • Overseeing SPO efficiency and effectiveness; maintaining action tracking tools.
  • Drafting executive level briefings as needed.
  • Working with program schedulers to depict major SPO activities and responsibilities.

Candidates experienced as USAF/USSF acquisition officers (AFSC: 63A) or developmental engineers (AFSC: 62E) leading satellite programs in the USSF (SSC), NRO, or SDA, applying the full range of the systems engineering discipline (e.g., Requirements Development, Architecture, SE milestones: SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.), and/or DAWIA/PMI Program Management will be especially well-prepared to excel.

Job Description:

This position is for a Portfolio Acquisition Execution (PAE) Human Resources Analyst inChantilly, VAsupporting cutting-edge and innovative space programs.This position supports the Satellite Program Office by providing direct support to government customers in execution of their duties and responsibilities. The PAE Human Resources Analyst collects, manages, and analyzes workforce data to assist government customers make data-driven decisions.The position requires familiarity with multiple DoW and IC organizations, processes, and satellite systems.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Anticipating what is needed for the SPO to be successful and responsive to organization leadership.
  • Planning ahead,anticipatingissues, providing solutions, and solving problems.
  • Overseeing and ensuring the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the SPO.
  • Maintaining action tracking process and tools;managingstatus; providing metrics.
  • Drafting executive level briefings as needed.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
