Job summary

Rigaku Americas Corp. in Auburn Hills, MI, is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to partner with regional general managers and senior leaders on leadership development, talent management, succession planning, organizational change, employee relations, compliance, and policy administration.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively Human Resources experience.
  • Experience supporting executive and senior leadership teams.
  • Experience facilitating leadership development and training initiatives.
  • Experience conducting and managing complex employee relations matters.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, including tracking and reporting HR data.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Regional General Managers and senior leaders on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Design, facilitate, and support leadership development programs, coaching initiatives, and learning opportunities to strengthen leadership capabilities across the organization.
  • Lead talent review processes, including talent assessments, succession discussions, performance calibration activities, and development planning.
  • Support succession planning efforts by identifying key talent, assessing bench strength, and developing talent pipelines.
  • Provide guidance and resolution support for complex employee relations matters, conducting investigations and recommending corrective actions while mitigating organizational risk.
  • Support organizational change management initiatives through leadership consultation, communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and employee transition activities.
  • Prepare, analyze, and maintain HR compliance reporting (AAP, EEO, etc.).
  • Review, update, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures for regulatory compliance and consistency.
  • Partner with leaders to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Support implementation of strategic HR initiatives and programs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Human Resources Advisor serves as a trusted advisor to Regional General Managers and senior leaders, providing strategic and operational human resources support in the areas of leadership development, talent management, succession planning, organizational change, employee relations, compliance, and policy administration.

This role helps develop organizational capability, strengthen leadership effectiveness, promote employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies while supporting the achievement of business objectives.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills, including the ability to track, validate, organize, and report HR data.

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, training, or HR compliance-related certification.
