Ceres Caribe is seeking a Human Resources Administrator in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This role includes providing administrative support for recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and a high school diploma or GED.

Ceres Caribe was founded in Puerto Rico in 1998 after Hurricane Georges. It has since grown to be one of the largest employers on the island, offering careers and rapid disaster recovery services including debris removal, demolition, and blue roofs. The company performs resiliency services such as vegetation management and utility line clearing for the Puerto Rican power grid, and is also recognized for creating natural parks and an aviary center.

Compensation Range: $14–$17 per hour

The Human Resources Administrator provides administrative and operational support for Human Resources and office functions. This role supports recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, compliance, document control, and employee communications. Success requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
This position primarily works in an office environment supporting Human Resources and operational teams. Daily responsibilities include employee interactions, document management, onboarding activities, compliance tracking, reporting, and coordination with multiple departments. The role requires strong attention to detail, frequent use of computer systems, and the ability to shift priorities based on business needs. Occasional local travel may be required to support hiring events, employee onboarding activities, or administrative errands.
Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment with moderate noise levels from office equipment, employees, and visitors.
