• Substitution option: One (1) year of postsecondary education (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours from an accredited college or university equals one year)

Join the Alaska Department of Fish and Game as a Human Resource Technician 2 in Juneau, AK (hybrid). This journey level role supports DFG managers, supervisors, and employees, with a strong focus on technical recruitment assistance and accurate HR information for hiring teams.

Minimum qualifications

• Six (6) months of entry technical level experience in human resource work equivalent to a Human Resource Technician 1 with the State of Alaska, or the equivalent elsewhere
• Substitution option: Graduation from high school or the equivalent and one (1) year of advanced clerical experience
• Substitution option: One (1) year of postsecondary education (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours from an accredited college or university equals one year)

Special note: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.
