This position performs clerical and routine technical duties to expedite the processing and maintenance of human resources information and records. Assists with daily HR tasks, including administrative duties, recruitment, and employee database management. Responsible for collecting, extracting, and inputting employee benefits and workers' compensation data to support the division's needs.
Works under the supervision of the Human Resources Deputy Directors. Principal responsibilities include supporting HR functions such as preparing purchasing documents, managing employee records, coordinating interviews, processing benefits, and maintaining files. Performs audits, manages office supplies, schedules physicals, and supports various HR programs.
This is a part-time, hourly position without full benefits, working 20-28 hours weekly in an office setting. Some after-hours, weekend work, and occasional emergency response may be required.
Prolonged sitting, use of computer, reading, communication, manual dexterity, occasional driving, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Accommodations available for disabilities.
Classified as FLSA Non-exempt, eligible for overtime. Position is entry-level, part-time, in the public safety industry.
