Description

Team Fishel, the Best Choice in Utility Construction since 1936, is hiring a Human Resource Manager in the Las Vegas metro area to assist our Western offices with attracting, training, and retaining our world-class Teammates in Arizona, Nevada, and California! The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for supporting regional leaders with recruiting, development, and retention initiatives while assisting in developing company-wide policies and programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted consultant for regional managers in the areas of talent attraction, Teammate development, and retention.
• Partner with regional leaders to create and implement recruiting plans to meet their talent goals.
• Analyze data to monitor trends using metrics such as turnover, training hours, and performance management compliance to assist area leaders.
• Assist in the development of local area and company-wide training programs and conduct training sessions (in-person and virtual).
• Collaborate with local leaders and corporate departments to support the day-to-day management of human resource functions.
• Work with local managers to resolve performance management challenges and investigate claims when necessary.
• Partner with other HR Managers and corporate leaders to create or update company policies, programs, and initiatives.

Prerequisites

• 5+ years of experience in the human resources, talent development, and/or recruiting fields.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience creating and implementing recruiting plans using multiple sources (social media, local networks, school visits, etc).
• Knowledge of employment law.
• Experience with Microsoft and Google tools.
• Ability to travel.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaker is a plus.
