Job summary

Skyline Sales Inc., including Skyline Ford, Mercedes of Salem, and Acura of Salem in Salem, Oregon, seeks an experienced Human Resource Manager. This full-time, management role oversees recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and training in a fast-paced auto industry environment.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills, and a solid understanding of HR principles and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR management role, preferably in the auto industry.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with company goals and objectives
• Manage employee updates, benefits, and department changes in ADP HRIS system
• Complete monthly and quarterly company reports
• Review and manage benefit and recruitment billings
• Oversee recruitment and utilize Hireology applicant tracking system for all open positions
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Conduct new hire orientations and coordinate employee onboarding
• Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and performance management
• Administer employee benefits and assist employees with benefits related inquiries
• Identify training needs and develop and implement training programs for employees
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
• Continually evaluate and improve HR processes and procedures
• Serve as a liaison between employees and management, addressing any HR-related concerns or issues
• Be a resource to all employees, providing guidance and support as needed
