Job summary

Skyline Ford in Salem, Oregon is seeking a dynamic Human Resource Manager to lead our HR department in a fast-paced automotive environment. This is a full-time management role overseeing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and training.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, at least 5 years of HR management experience, and strong knowledge of employment laws. SHRM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in auto industry.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with company goals.
• Manage employee updates, benefits, and department changes in ADP HRIS.
• Complete monthly and quarterly company reports.
• Review and manage benefit and recruitment billings.
• Oversee recruitment and Hireology ATS for all open positions.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding coordination.
• Manage employee relations and performance management.
• Administer employee benefits and assist with inquiries.
• Identify training needs and implement training programs.
• Maintain up-to-date employee records.
• continually evaluate and improve HR processes.
• Serve as liaison between employees and management.

Job Summary

This positions is with Skyline Sales Inc, which includes the Skyline Ford, Mercedes of Salem, and Acura of Salem auto dealerships in Salem, Oregon. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team! This is a full-time, management role in the fast-paced and exciting auto industry. The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and training. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a solid understanding of HR principles and practices. Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $66,000 to $96,000 per year, paid semi-monthly. • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and performance management
• Administer employee benefits and assist employees with benefits related inquiries
• Identify training needs and develop and implement training programs for employees
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files
• Continually evaluate and improve HR processes and procedures
• Serve as a liaison between employees and management, addressing any HR-related concerns or issues
• Be a resource to all employees, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HR management role, preferably in the auto industry
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to handle and resolve employee relations issues
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus
