Join a dynamic team of professional human resources staff dedicated to working as business partners supporting both employees and managers.
The individual selected for this position will be responsible for directing the overall planning, development, and administration of the human resource functions within MO HealthNet, the Division of Legal Services, Division of Finance & Administrative Services and the Director's Office. This will include duties such as compliance with laws, regulations and policies, conducting investigations, compensation, classification, performance management, recruitment and selection, discipline, conducting investigations and management of human resource staff. This position partners with Fiscal and Human Resource Liaisons in assigned divisions and handles audit requests related to human resources.
Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
The person in this position must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function in a fast-paced and detail-oriented environment that will require a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving, time management, organizational and analytical skills, professional human resource experience as well as the ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality are a must. Knowledge of, or experience with the State of Missouri's personnel law and regulations, working the SAMII/HR system and Microsoft Office Suite, the principles and practices of human resources, and personnel administration concepts is preferred.
