The Oklahoma Department of Human Services is seeking a Human Resource Management Specialist to join their Classification and Compensation Unit. This role involves processing position requests, managing compensation adjustments, and handling unemployment claims. Level I - C31A CF $63,250.00 + Full state benefits
Level II - C31B CF $66,625.00 + Full state benefits
Level III - C31C CF $70,000.00 + Full state benefits

Note: Experience which was incidental to or not a major responsibility or duty of the position shall not be accepted as qualifying. Human resources management experience should include at least one of the following: job analysis, position classification, wage/salary and benefits administration, civil rights administration, recruitment or payroll administration.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is a member of the Classification and Compensation Unit, and performs a wide range functions involving classification, compensation, unemployment and the Employment Action Request System (e-92). These include the following:
Log, review and process requests for allocation or reallocation of positions; obtain concurring reviews on required classifications; ensure requests have required levels of review and/or approval prior to performing required system processing, field notifications and/or forwarding for further actions by others; create and/or revise job specifications.
Log, review, and process requests received for various types of compensation adjustments, to include but not limited to one-time or reoccurring payments for differing types of allowances, skill-based pay adjustments, CSIP, bonuses and/or partial longevity payments.
Log, review and process unemployment claims which requires requesting separation information and documentation from the appropriate level of agency staff; ensure sufficient information/documentation is provided in order to prepare and submit the agency's official response. Serve as the agency representative in unemployment appeal hearings.
Review and process requested actions, perform system maintenance, grant user access and training of end users in the use of the Employment Action Request System (e-92), and assisting in maintaining the Unit's information on the DHS infonet.
