Summary of Position:
Komro Sales & Service, Inc. is seeking an individual to develop, implement, and enforce company HR policies & procedures while supporting Komro Sales employees in their dynamic work environment!
Komro Sales & Services, Inc. is a privately owned company serving the Dairy and Agricultural Industry since 1960. We provide our customers with facility design and construction services which includes; sales and service for manure and feed handling equipment; and developing manure separation systems nationwide. In addition, we are a full line Bobcat and Nuhn dealer as well. Komro Sales is constantly developing manpower to support, with innovation, our growing customer base.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates; recommend finalists, extend employment offers, coordinate pre-employment drug testing, and conduct new hire orientation. Also includes attending career fairs with potential for overnight travel occasionally.
- Ensure compliance with company compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration and benefit guidelines.
- Assist with workplace safety inspections and investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective or preventive actions.
- Manage workers' compensation and lost-time claims by serving as the primary liaison between employees, insurance carriers, and healthcare providers.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, paid time off (PTO), and payroll, while resolving employee concerns and advising managers on employment law compliance and best practices.
- Develop, maintain, and update employee handbooks, including policies related to payroll, safety, benefits, uniforms, drug testing, disciplinary procedures, and other company guidelines.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to document and standardize best practices across multiple departments.
- Process bi-weekly payroll, including calculating profit-sharing points, overnight compensation, and per diem reimbursements.
- Complete the comprehensive labor cost analysis spreadsheet for each employee on a quarterly basis.
Qualifications:
- Education, training and experience in Accounting, Business Administration & Health and Human Resources
- Ability to recruit qualified candidates utilizing multiple recruiting sources to identify, screen, interview and recommend prospective candidates
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office / Excel applications
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Possess the confidence and ability to influence others, facilitate processes, and coach/advise managers
- Pro-active, self-motivated and reliable
