Job description

(Lavonia, GA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a HR Generalist (Compliance, Employee Relations & Admin Support) to support daily human resources operations with a strong focus on compliance, employee relations, payroll support, and HR administration. This position will serve as a key resource for employees and management while ensuring HR processes align with company policies and employment regulations. The schedule for this role is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Essential Duties:
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and other applicable requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support internal and external compliance audits.
  • Investigate employee relations matters including complaints, conflicts, disciplinary actions, and workplace concerns while ensuring fairness, consistency, and legal compliance.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, best practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Support payroll processes by maintaining employee data, reviewing timesheets, tracking leave, and coordinating with payroll teams to ensure accuracy and timely processing.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire orientation and exit procedures.
  • Maintain personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with company and legal requirements.
  • Prepare HR reports and assist with tracking employee data and compliance metrics.
  • Coordinate employee training programs and support other HR initiatives as needed.
Requirements/Skills:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in employee relations and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Experience with ADP and/or ADP Workforce Now NextGen preferred.
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, phones, and printers.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
