Careers Nri3pl in Fontana, CA is seeking a People Experience Advisor (HR Generalist) to support policies, processes, and programs, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain confidentiality with team members and candidates.

The role features a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm schedule with starting pay $70,304 - $85,652 and a focus on employee relations, leave administration (FMLA/CFRA/PDL/WC), benefits, audits, and open enrollment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 12+ months HR Generalist experience with a high volume of employees.
  • Multi-site experience required.
  • Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure HR policies and processes are consistently administered across the company.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new-hire orientation and maintain accurate employee files.
  • Facilitate employee relations issues and provide guidance.
  • Manage full-cycle leave of absence processes (FMLA/CFRA/PDL/WC).
  • Partner with management on performance matters, inquiries, investigations, and terminations.
  • Assist with wage-hour audits and documentation.
  • Oversee open enrollment and administer benefits programs.

The People Experience Advisor (HR Generalist) is an essential member of our People Experience (HR) department. They will have a wide range of human resources duties as it relates to policies, processes, procedures, and programs. They will be looked upon to provide great customer service, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality in the dealings you have with team members and candidates .

The following schedule is available for this role:

All About You

Wha t You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Strong experience in employee relations issues
  • Strong knowledge of ADA, FM LA, CFRA, PDL, and other leave laws.
  • Experience in a role where strong attention to detail, being resourceful, working multiple projects and competing demands are the norm.
  • Excellent consultative, presentation skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
  • Professionalism, with ability to maintain confidential information and a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Works independently as well as with a team
  • Use judgment to identify the most appropriate solution from several options using prior knowledge and experience since p roblems or situations are different and require interpretation .
  • Responsibilities and objectives are assigned with considerable freedom for decision making using technical or experiential knowledge and company standards . Work may be periodically reviewed according to achievement of predefined goals.
  • Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.

The Must Haves:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources , Business or a related field preferred
  • Multi-site experience is required
  • Must have 12 + months experience as a HR Generalist supporting a high volume of employees
  • B ilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Wage and Hour knowledge a plus
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have physical ability to carry out es sential job functions, including but not limited to , sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse
Things You Will be Doing
  • Ensure HR policies and processes are consistently administered throughout the company
  • Coordinates and facilitates new-hire orientation and maintains accurate and up to date employee personnel files.
  • Facilitate any employee relations issues and provides guidance
  • Manage full cycle leave of absence process (FMLA/ CFRA/PDL/WC)
  • Works in partnership with management on various employment matters including performance management issues, employee inquiries or complaints, conduct investigations and processes terminations.
  • Assists with recurring audits for wage and hour/ meal and rest and collecting any documentation related to it.
  • Organize communication to management regarding monthly performance reviews process along with tracking review progress
  • Maintain required documentation, including electronic documentation, supporting affirmative action, leaves of absence, attendance, vacation, and positive performance.
  • Conducts open enrollment and administers benefit program for employees.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all activities and records.
  • Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
