Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking an HR Director to lead strategic and tactical initiatives across multiple lines of business. This role involves consulting with senior leaders on organizational design, compensation, succession, retention and engagement to maximize workforce effectiveness.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field and 10+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years as an HR Business Partner, with strong knowledge of employment law and a proven ability to

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the evaluation and coordination of a broad range of HR programs, policies, and programs for assigned areas.
  • Directly partner with business leaders on HR issues including recruiting, onboarding, engagement, performance management, development, rewards, and recognition.
  • Identify and drive organizational changes to business models, structures, and core HR activities; evaluate needs and execute full lifecycle changes.
  • Drive succession planning and individual development to ensure retention of key personnel.
  • Ensure employment processes comply with laws and Company policies and educate leaders on expectations.
  • Analyze turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, and grievances to determine actions to improve trends.
  • Align priorities with the company vision and develop HR solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Lead special projects by clarifying issues, coordinating requirements, and driving milestones toward results.
  • Maintain understanding of relevant federal/state labor laws and coach on compliance.
  • Lead incorporation of the Company’s vision, purpose, and values into management practices.

Job Description Summary

The HR Director is responsible for the strategic and tactical initiatives across multiple areas and/or lines of business. Responsible for the review and implementation of multifaceted HR projects that collaborate with business leaders on both strategic and tactical HR initiatives that are aligned with Option Care’s strategic priorities by maximizing the effectiveness of the work‑force. This role will consult on higher level HR issues including, but not limited to, identifying, evaluating and implementing organizational design initiatives, advising and educating senior leaders on compensation, creating succession plans, driving employee engagement initiatives, retention, and talent development. This position must be able to build relationships and influence leaders at the Director and above level.

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)
  • Overall responsibility for the evaluation and coordination of a broad range of HR programs, policies, and programs for assigned areas.
  • Directly partner with business leaders in all areas on HR related issues including recruiting, onboarding, engagement, employee relations, performance management, development, rewards, and recognition.
  • Identify and drive organizational changes to business model, organization and functional alignments, and core HR activities (e.g. department restructures, severances, redeployments, etc.). Evaluate organizational needs proactively, executing full‑life‑cycle organizational change.
  • Drive succession planning and individual development proactively to ensure identification, development, and retention of key personnel.
  • Ensure employment processes in areas are consistent across the organization as well as with state and federal laws and complies with Company policies. Communicate and educate leaders on expectations.
  • Analyze key human resources trends in turnover, hiring, promotions, separations, and grievances to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.
  • Understands the company vision and aligns priorities accordingly by analyzing and identifying opportunities to lower turnover, increase employee engagement and retention, and developing high‑performing teams, developing HR solutions that will ultimately improve outcomes.
  • Successfully execute special projects by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities, communicating, and coordinating requirements, evaluating milestones driving towards results; evaluating optional courses of action; adapting activities due to changing assumptions and direction.
  • Maintain an understanding of relevant federal and state labor and workplace laws that pertain to and impact Option Care Health’s workforce, and effectively coach team members on compliance to these laws.
  • Lead the incorporation of the Company’s vision, purpose, and values into the management practices of the team he/she supports.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field;
  • 10+ years of HR experience with at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner
Basic Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning).
  • Proven ability to create and drive partnerships, developing a higher level of trust and credibility.
  • Self‑motivated and high endurance with critical attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and reporting.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $129,386.61-$215,629.34
