Job Title: Human Resource Coordinator

Reports To: Senior Director of Human Resources

Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office

About The Center for Pursuit: Pursuit Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to live meaningful and fulfilling lives. We provide a range of services and support to help our clients achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life.

Position Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the HR department with a focus on recruitment, onboarding, training compliance, agency audits, and payroll support. The HR Coordinator will also provide administrative and functional support to the HR Director and HR Generalist.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment efforts including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, ensuring all documentation is completed and orientations are conducted effectively.
  • Conduct new employee orientation sessions, ensuring new hires are welcomed, informed, and integrated into the organization.
  • Maintain applicant tracking and onboarding systems to ensure accurate and timely updates.


Training & Compliance

  • Monitor and track employee training completion to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for organizing and scheduling training sessions and maintaining training records.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring HR files are audit-ready.


Payroll Support

  • Assist the Payroll Specialist with bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records and respond to payroll-related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.


HR Operations & Administrative Support

  • Support the HR Director and HR Generalist with various HR functions including employee relations, benefits administration, and policy implementation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
  • Assist in the coordination of employee engagement initiatives and HR projects.


Qualifications

  • HS Diploma Required. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR.
  • Experience in UKG system required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
