Timbrook Automotive is seeking an HR Manager in Cumberland, MD to steer our dealership’s talent, culture, and growth. You’ll lead HR programs, oversee recruiting activities, and collaborate with leadership to drive people initiatives in a fast-paced automotive environment.

The role focuses on maintaining records, overseeing benefits, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. A customer-focused, team-driven atmosphere is central to our operation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience (automotive industry a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in HR or business preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting efforts, from job postings to interview scheduling.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding process for employees.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR files.
• Help administer employee benefits and respond to related questions.
• Process paperwork for new hires, terminations, and policy changes.
• Assist with attendance tracking, PTO requests, and HRIS data entry.
• Support employee engagement and training efforts.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
