Position SummaryThe Human Resources Administrator provides administrative and operational support across a broad range of Human Resources functions. The position works closely with the Human Resources Manager to support employee programs, recruitment and onboarding, compliance, employee relations, benefits, training, reporting, and other HR initiatives.This role serves as a resource for employees and managers by responding to HR-related questions, maintaining accurate and confidential employee information, and helping ensure HR programs and processes are administered consistently, accurately, and in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Payroll AdministrationSupport the bi-weekly payroll process performed by a TPA, ensuring employee information, earnings, deductions, time records, and other payroll-related data are accurate and complete.Review and maintain employee PTO balances and assist with resolving payroll and timekeeping discrepancies.Generate and review bi-weekly payroll reports and other payroll-related reports as required.Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding payroll, timecards, PTO, deductions, and related matters.Maintain accurate payroll documentation and records in accordance with company procedures.Benefits and Retirement Plan AdministrationAssist with the administration of company-sponsored employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, long-term disability, retirement plans, and other applicable benefit programs.Process employee benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations, including applicable COBRA-related updates and documentation.Audit monthly benefit invoices for accuracy and coordinate corrections as necessary.Maintain annual benefit plan and enrollment information within Paycom based on available plan offerings and employee elections.Maintain accurate employee Life & AD&D and Long-Term Disability coverage information, including updates resulting from hires, terminations, salary changes, and other qualifying events.Prepare 401(k) contribution reports, including employee deferrals, loan repayments, employer matching contributions, and other required information.Upload 401(k) contribution files to the retirement plan provider for processing and assist with related compliance reporting as needed.HR Administration and HRISProvide general administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department.Assist with the administration of HR policies, procedures, programs, and practices.Maintain accurate, organized, secure, and confidential employee personnel files and HR records.Prepare HR documents, correspondence, reports, forms, and other employee-related materials.Enter, maintain, and audit employee information within the HRIS and other HR systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.Maintain HR training records, documents, procedures, and manuals.Maintain and update company job descriptions.Complete written employment verifications as requested and in accordance with company procedures.Coordinate and maintain the employee exit interview process and related records.Prepare recurring and ad hoc HR reports as requested.Perform general administrative duties, including filing, copying, tracking, mailing, maintaining records, and ordering HR-related materials and supplies.Recruitment and OnboardingSupport recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, assessments, and coordination of pre-employment requirements.Coordinate requests for background checks, drug screenings, and other applicable pre-employment processes.Prepare offer letters and other employment documentation.Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding activities, including reviewing company policies and benefit programs and collecting required new hire documentation.Ensure new hire information is accurately and timely entered into applicable HRIS.Employee Relations, Compliance and HR ProgramsAssist with employee relations matters and help address routine workplace questions and concerns, escalating matters to the Human Resources Manager when appropriate.Support administration of Workers' Compensation matters in accordance with company Risk Management procedures, including required documentation and follow-up.Support unemployment claims by completing necessary forms and providing requested information.Assist in maintaining HR practices and records consistent with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements and company policies.Coordinate schedules and maintain records for HR projects, employee meetings, training and development programs, and other HR initiatives.Assist with compensation-related communications and documentation, including merit increases, promotions, incentive payments, profit sharing, and Safe Harbor contributions, as applicable.Employee Engagement and Company ProgramsCoordinate employee recognition programs and global recognition award orders.Coordinate Dreamwall presentations, including poster framing and requests for installation.Prepare presentations and supporting materials for All Employee Meetings based on the established meeting agenda.Support other employee engagement, recognition, and company culture initiatives as assigned.Organizational SupportSupport initiatives that reinforce SDC's Vision, Mission, and Values.Build effective working relationships across the organization through professional communication, collaboration, respect, integrity, and personal accountability.Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, organization, confidentiality, and professionalism.Effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines in a collaborative work environment.Perform other Human Resources duties, Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and ExperienceAssociate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; or two to six years of related Human Resources experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including benefits administration, employee records, HRIS administration, payroll, recruitment, and onboarding, preferred.Experience with Paycom, Workday or a comparable HRIS/payroll platform preferred.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of general Human Resources practices, policies, and procedures.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretionStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, managers, vendors, and other business partners.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify discrepancies, gather relevant information, and recommend solutions/improvements.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as HRIS/payroll systems.
