Job summary

The Data Scientist II at General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. will apply advanced analytic methods to HP data to optimize readiness, resiliency, and performance of SOF personnel.

You will enter, clean, and analyze HP data collected through program initiatives and collaborate with performance teams and a government biostatistician. This role supports dashboard development, trends analysis, and longitudinal monitoring to inform commanders and HP leaders.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in quantitative science, social science or related discipline.
• 3+ years of research experience in academic, social services, government, healthcare or laboratory settings.
• Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS/SAS/R) for applied research and analytics.
• Publications or applied HP research experience demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Enter, clean, and analyze HP data collected through program initiatives.
• Collaborate with performance teams and the government biostatistician on evaluation and analytics.
• Identify data-collection opportunities with strength coaches, dietitians, and other staff.
• Develop performance dashboards, readiness trends, and longitudinal monitoring products.
• Prepare reports and presentations communicating trends, risk indicators and impact for leadership.
• Access Government systems for HP data entry, management, and analysis.
