Job summary
GDIT is seeking a Data Scientist I to support mission-critical work on an exciting program. You will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter by performing basic data entry, cleaning, and performance analysis that informs readiness and resilience of SOF personnel.
The Human Performance Data Scientist I will work with program staff and a government biostatistician to build and maintain databases and dashboards capturing metrics, wellness indicators, and participation information, while
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative science, social science or related discipline.
- Proficient with Word, Excel and Access.
- Basic proficiency with SPSS, SAS, or R.
- Excellent communication, detail oriented and organized.
Responsibilities
- Enter, clean, and prepare HP data.
- Build and maintain databases/spreadsheets capturing performance metrics, wellness indicators, and program participation information.
- Collaborate with coaches and specialists to identify opportunities for data collection.
- Prepare basic reports and presentations communicating trends and readiness insights for leadership.
- Use Government systems to manage and analyze human performance data.
