Job summary

Ibility is seeking a Human Factors Engineer to apply user-centered design to healthcare information systems and digital health technologies. You will work with clinical, technical, training, and operational stakeholders to improve usability, workforce readiness, and workflow optimization.

You'll evaluate user interactions, identify usability challenges, and recommend solutions that enhance onboarding, user enablement, and system performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in human-centered design, usability, workflow analysis, user adoption, training, or healthcare technology.
• Experience observing end users and gathering feedback to improve usability and efficiency.
• Experience supporting software implementations or healthcare information systems.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and sessions with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication to document findings and recommendations.
• Experience developing user guidance, job aids, and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate user learning needs and develop enablement resources to promote workforce readiness.
• Collaborate with super users and peer networks to gather end-user feedback and adoption challenges.
• Conduct workflow observations, usability assessments, and feedback sessions to improve usability and end-user experience.
• Assist with staffing analysis to identify opportunities for improved workforce models and support.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to recommend human-centered improvements.
