Job summary

Lumicity is seeking a Human Factors Engineer to join its product development team. This hands-on role involves designing and executing human factors studies, producing supporting documents, and operating with minimal oversight.

You will plan and run evaluations across the lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and conduct voice-of-customer research in clinical settings. A 2–5 year HF background and a relevant bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of human factors engineering experience.
• Comfortable owning studies and documentation independently.
• Familiarity with applicable human factors/usability standards (e.g., AAMI HE75, IEC 62366, IEC 60601).
• Medical device experience is a plus but not required; other regulated industries welcome.
• Experience in a clinical environment (OR, procedural suite) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (human factors, biomedical engineering, psychology, or related).
