The HFE must understand applicable human factors standards and demonstrate knowledge of SAFe Lean-Agile principles and practice.

Please note, this role is on a 9-month contract in which we are hopeful for an extension or additional work, but it may be only 9 months. Travel is listed as a possibility by our federal customer (short duration and small travel teams out of a much larger program).

  • Experience evaluating systems, products, processes, or workflows for usability, human performance, safety, and user effectiveness.
  • Experience conducting human factors or usability analyses and translating user needs and findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of applicable human factors, usability, accessibility, and human-centered design standards and practices.
  • Understanding of SAFe Lean-Agile principles and experience working with Agile or multidisciplinary teams.
