Job summary

Charles River Analytics, a GRVTY company, seeks a versatile software engineer to join the R&D team in Cambridge, MA. You will develop core technologies and deploy AI solutions, collaborating with researchers to address national security and societal challenges.

Proficiency in Python, ML/AI, and the full software lifecycle is required; Docker/Kubernetes, databases, and agile processes are a plus. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science or related field, or a bachelor’s with 3–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python skills and understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and APIs; Docker/Kubernetes knowledge a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with researchers and customers to design analytical experiments.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a security clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering projects of varying scope within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators to prioritize requirements and track in GitLab.
• Document implementations and API specifications using Docusaurus and Markdown.
• Engage in end-to-end software development lifecycle and deployment activities.
