Job summary

Charles River Analytics, a GRVTY company, seeks a skilled AI/ML engineer to design and implement state-of-the-art AI frameworks. The role involves debugging, profiling, and refining systems, and collaborating with engineers and scientists to deliver advanced solutions.

You will contribute to DoD-related programs, write reports, and foster customer relationships while navigating a 60% onsite/40% remote hybrid schedule in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• 3+ years experience building ML/AI systems or a completed graduate degree with academic research in ML/AI.
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Python.
• Strong knowledge in probability, multivariable calculus, and linear algebra.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and development.
• Motivated to learn and apply new technologies.
• Ability to accommodate a hybrid schedule (60% onsite 40% remote).

What you need

• 3+ years experience building ML/AI systems or a completed graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) with academic research experience in ML/AI systems
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Python
• Good fundamental knowledge in probability, multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and related technical areas
• Familiarity with Linux systems and development
• Motivated to learn and apply new technologies
• Ability to accommodate a hybrid schedule (60% onsite 40% remote)

Our preferred candidate has

• 5+ years of post graduate experience building AI/ML systems
• Experience with product deployment
• Experience as a writer or cowriter to DoD proposals/grants
• Demonstrated effectiveness in delivering complex AI / ML solutions to end-users from concept to deployment
• Demonstrated effectiveness in strategically developing complex AI codebases over months-to-years
• Broad knowledge across a diversity of computer science research, including programming languages, knowledge representation, reasoning, optimization, robotics, computer vision, etc. a plus

Salary Range

$120,000 - $220,000

The above salary range is an estimate based on the internal job level(s) for which this role is being considered. The final salary will be decided after careful evaluation of the individual’s work experience, education, and overall qualifications. This range does not include the substantial total rewards, as listed below, that you will also be eligible for as an employee at Charles River Analytics.
