Job summary

A shipyard subcontractor is seeking an experienced Sand Blaster for its Preservation Department in National City, CA. The ideal candidate will perform various sand blasting tasks, work effectively in teams, and adhere to safety regulations. Applicants should have at least 3 years of related experience, SSPC C7 Certification, and the ability to operate various equipment safely. This full-time position may require occasional travel and long shifts, including outdoor work in diverse conditions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sand blasting or related fields.
• SSPC C7 Certification is required.
• Ability to read technical English.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material.
• Set up and operate blasting equipment.
• Implement safety and environmental regulations.
