Job summary

Pacific Shipyards International is seeking skilled painters and blasters in Hawaii to perform blasting and painting in accordance with contract requirements. Candidates must be able to obtain required credentials (TWIC/DBIDS) and be capable of working overtime, weekends, and varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current SSPC C-7 Abrasive Blaster Certification.
• Experience with surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and coating application.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as required.
• Must show proof of your legal right to work in the United States; US Citizenship is required for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply coatings by operating conventional, airless, and plural spray systems.
• Safely operate blasting pots, spray guns, and related tools.
• Prepare surfaces and mix paints to required colors and consistencies.
• Maintain safety and PPE; read blueprints and follow contract specs.
• Maintain and clean work areas, ensure quality and productivity standards.
