Open New York is seeking a dynamic Organizing Coordinator to build our Hudson Valley chapter. You will recruit volunteers, organize events, and represent Open New York at civic and legislative gatherings while expanding grassroots membership across the region.

The role requires 3–5 years in community engagement or organizing, strong communication skills, and a passion for equitable development and tenant rights. Travel throughout Hudson Valley is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Three to five years of professional experience in community engagement or organizing.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to craft clear narratives.
• Experience hosting focus groups, rallies, webinars, and community meetings.

• Manage day-to-day operations of Hudson Valley chapters with the organizing team.
• Oversee volunteer recruitment and member growth across Hudson Valley.
• Host orientations and trainings for new members and organize regular events.
