Indivisible Project is seeking creative, experienced Organizers to organize, support, and grow local groups across NY. You will work with group leaders to take action on national campaigns, develop leadership, and build strong statewide structures and communication streams.

This full-time role requires travel up to 20% annually and 40 hours per week. We value equity, inclusive democracy, and a powerhouse grassroots movement. Remote work within NY is possible for eligible candidates.

Qualificações

• Experience in community, labor, movement, or electoral organizing.
• Experience developing field plans and tracking progress.
• Ability to train activists in skill development, power-building, and strategic planning.
• Ability to tackle problems with actionable plans and smart, innovative approaches.
• Strong communication and writing skills; building turf communication structures.

Responsabilidades

• Build power by organizing groups in your turf around Indivisible’s priorities; develop trusted relationships with leaders and activists.
• Provide updates, resources, and support to drive calls to action among members and activists.
• Coach groups on Indivisible’s theory of change and provide knowledge resources to enable local actions.
• Develop statewide coordination and clear communication structures within your turf.
• Identify, recruit, and develop new group leaders and volunteers to grow reach and capacity.
• Support building state structures by recruiting leaders to form the required structure.
• Develop and execute strategic turf plans to hit short-term campaigns and long-term goals.
• Report, track, and record real-time data and insights.
