Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have master's in social work from CSWE-accredited program.
• Graduates from candidacy-status schools do not meet requirement until accreditation.
• Doctoral degree cannot substitute for MSW.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Appointment requires GS-9/GS-11 experience and licensure/certification at independent practice level.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to Veterans in HUD-VASH program.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with VA and community agencies.
• Travel within center and community as needed.
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling.
